There are still people who think that in Lapland there are only 2 seasons (winter and summer), that the sun does not rise during one half of the year, and it does not set during the other half… Wrong!
In Lapland we say that there are 8 different seasons (you can have a look at them at this arcticle from Lapland Above Ordinary), and the nature looks very diffent from one to another in different times of the year.
If the weather, the light and the conditions are different in different seasons, the activities that you will be able to enjoy are also different. Are you ready to discover the summer time?

With this landscape, the snowmobiles and the sledges have been put to sleep until the snow comes again, and instead of them, the river boats are waiting on the shore of the river. Hiking with huskies
In winter time you can go for a ride in a sledge pulled by a team of huskies but, as many of us, this friendly animals are on their holidays during the summer time before they start training again in the Autumn for the coming winter season. Nevertheless, they are happy to meet us in their kennels and join us in a hike in the forest while we enjoy a drink by a camp fire.
