New office of Lapland Safaris in Rovaniemi

Today we opended officially our new office and shop in Rovaniemi. The whole thing has been a project under the Helsinki World Design Capital 2012, where the city of Rovaniemi was partner bringing to the WDC2012 an arctic design perspective.

The project has been a join venture of the Rovaniemi Kehitys (Rovaniemi Regional Development Agency) and the University of Lapland, working together to present a service design to companies. the actual design and realization was done by Treeform Oy, a local company in Rovaniemi.

The Faculty of Arts and Desing has designed the new office, togehter with students from Media, Design and Tourism. The result is more spacious reception, where natural materials are combined with the huge window to integrate the landscape of Kemijoki river.

We are very happy with the result, and want to thanks all the parties involved in the project. Welcome to visit us from the 25th of November!

    Nice article about the new office space. Unfortunately it is somewhat inaccurate. While the service design concept was indeed carried out by University of Lapland students, the actual design and realization was done by our design company, Treeform Oy.
