Faces of Lapland Safaris

We’ve been working hard for two years now with the guys from Flatlight to create a series of videos to bring our activities to to a new (image) level. It is not easy to resume in a picture or in a video what we do: driving a snowmobile on the fells is an experience which touches so many senses, and which has so many dimensions. If we want to show it in a video, then the video needs to be good enough. Now they are super gooooood!

We have now produced videos of winter activities, summer activities and activities around Christmas time. We have done a super good one about searching for northern lights by snowmobile, reindeer sledge and on snowhoes. We have done a series of videos to show how to dress for our activities and how to drive a snowmobile or a husky sledge. The How To videos have been subtitled in many languages to be sure that the How To works not only for the English speaking people, but also for those who speak Spanish, German, Italian, French, Japanese and Chinese. We want to be sure that if you are coming to visit us and you want to do some of our activities, you have the best knowledge to enjoy your time.

We are Lapland Safaris

In the previous videos we answered questions like “What you can do in summer or winter in Lapland?”, ” How can I go to search for northern lights?”,  “How to drive a snowmobile?” and many others. There is one question that we kept unanswered until the last video of our latest production project. The question is: “Who is Lapland Safaris?”

In the video you will meet different kind of people, because that is what we are: people. People who like what they do and they do it with passion.

In the video you will meet 12 persons from different areas in the company. Each of them represent a whole team the total size of which goes up to 550 persons during the high season. The video shows just a few of us, but there is a vital team behind every person in the video, and without that team our work would be impossible.

The ones in the video are:

  • Ulrika – a super guide based in our Saariselkä office
  • Seppo – the best doctor that a snowmobile could have. The king of maintenance
  • Tiina – working on our sales team, building amazing experiences with a big smile
  • Jyrki – makes things happen in Rovaniemi
  • Olavi – dog’s best friend
  • Juhani – the mixer of Lappish flavours
  • Tomi – an ice-architecht
  • Julián – spreads word of Lapland Safaris on the World Wide Web
  • Petri – a sauna elf
  • Santa Claus – our oldest team member
  • Leena – experience creator
  • Jyrki Niva – our naked sheriff and CEO

We proudly present these members of our community which are a link to a great team.  In the coming weeks, you will know a bit more about some of them in short videos and interviews.

Lapland Safaris is a group of people working for you. Creating experiences with a human touch.
